Image Metrics

Whilst looking on the PC World website i found this youtube video/promo for a company called "Image Metrics". They specialise in producing life like animations based around video capturig technology. Where it differs from motion capturing technology is that the computer reads the video footage, does all the calculations and applies it to a digital animation. The example in the video shows how it can be applied quickly and cost effectively to animate a digital character. Already been used in the gaming industry
