Maya live



My channel 4 ident composited a 3d 4 logo made in maya with live action, but this procedure was kept relatively simple because the camera was motionless so no tracking was required. Not a problem for that project because camera movement was not appropriate.

Because this advert is to be shot at a much faster pace, camera movement and angle changes is a must if it's to grab peoples attention, so it's definitely one thing to bear in mind when shooting live action. What would be a good idea is to ensure there are some forms of reference on the green screen - like a piece of paper with a cross, so maya can track it with greater accuracy.
