Here's a guy i stumbled across by pure chance whilst researching popular children's cartoons recently. Seems this guy Brian McGee has done drawings for "Cow and Chicken" and Disney. There's a link at the bottom to his blog, have a look - you'll find loads of links to other illustrators and 3d artists once you get there. I especially like the clever depiction of light in this drawing. Real sense of drama.
